Volunteers Needed for New Seacombe Youth Hub

Exciting funding is coming into Seacombe β€” and now we need people like you to help make it happen.

We’re calling on passionate, community-minded volunteers to be part of a brand-new youth hub designed to get young people off the streets, out of trouble, and into a safe, positive environment.

Β£20 million of funding is being invested into Seacombe through the Pride in Place programme β€” a government initiative supporting communities to grow, thrive, and take control of their future.

We believe this youth hub is exactly what Seacombe needs β€” a space that supports young people and strengthens the community.

This creates a real opportunity to deliver projects that make a difference locally. We believe this youth hub is exactly what Seacombe needs β€” a space that supports young people and strengthens the community.

What the Space Will Offer

We’re proposing a multi-level youth hub in Seacombe designed to give young people a safe, positive place to spend their time including during the summer holidays when it’s needed most.

  • Youth Club Space: Gaming, music, social areas, and a relaxed environment to connect and have fun
  • Boxing & Fitness Gym: A structured space to build discipline, confidence, and improve wellbeing
  • Support & Development: Mentoring, guidance, and life skills to help young people move forward

Together, these spaces will help keep young people off the streets, out of trouble, and engaged in something positive.
